A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

The whole concept of “Retro Math” is to make learning math more entertaining and enjoyable to children of any age. This math app is unique in its genre because it merges solving math problems with the fun of playing combat games, hopefully creating associations for students between fun and math.

Install instructions

Windows Download Procedure: 

  1. Download the game file here and click on the download button once the new window loads. 
  2. Go to File Explorer and open the Downloads folder. At the top, there will be a file called "main". Double click on the file.
  3. If the "Windows protected your PC" window opens, click on "More info" at the bottom and then click on the "Run anyway" button that pops up at the very bottom of the screen.
  4. The game will launch!


Mac Download Procedure:

  1. Download the game file here and click on the download button once the new window loads.
  2. After the file finishes loading, open the "Downloads" folder and open the file called RetroMathGame.dmg.
  3. Once the new window opens, drag and drop the application called "main" onto your desktop.
  4. Find the file on your desktop and open the game.
  5. Go to System Preferences and click on "Security & Privacy".
  6. In "Security & Privacy" go to the "General" tab and click on the "Open Anyway" button at the very bottom.
  7. The game should now launch!
